From The Page (May, 1996):
Silver Desert once again welcomes new members with a tournament in their honor. There will be numerous classes and activities throughout the day, including (but not limited to:) Dance, Heraldry, Armor construction, Mailmaking, Period games, Garb construction, and a Quest.
There will be a prize list sponsered by Michael Maclaren; prizes include a Roper- Whitney punch (great for armoring) and a hip flask.
The site is open from 10am to 9pm. Site fee is $ 3.00 for adults, children under 12 are free.
After the activities of the day, there will be a potluck revel. Bring a side dish to serve 5 or 6 people and your meat for barbeque.
Note for allergy sufferers: Cottonwood Park is aptly named and the trees are likely to be pollinating actively this time of year. Please take necessary precautions.
Autocrat: Cieran mac Cumhaill (contact info omitted).
