October Crown is back at Kelly's Camp in Lake County, this year. The site will open at Noon on Friday, October 4th, and close on Sunday, October 6th. Full details will be in the September Page.

Please call the autocrats if you plan to bring an RV.

October Crown is back at Kelly's Camp in Lake County this year. The site opens at Noon on Friday, Oct. 4th, and closes at 5 pm on Sunday. Please call the autocrats if you plan to bring an RV, or you need special camping arrangements due to a handicap.

This site has potable water, some flush toilets, coin-operated showers, fixed barbecues, and a man-made swimming hole. There is also a mini-store on site.

Please do not drive over 5 miles per hour at any time on the site. Also, no driving on the Eric after dark on Friday, please. No drums or other loud noises after 10pm, please. Our neighbors do not love the echo as we do. Dogs are OK, but must be kept leashed at all times. Standard West Kingdom fire rules will be observed at all times. No tiki torches, please.

Parents Alert: This site is not remarkably dangerous, but it is bounded by a road and a creek. It also has a swimming hole that is 12 foot deep at one end and has NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Please make sure your children are attended. First court begins at 10 am, Saturday.

Lists: Sign ups for the Crown List opens at 4pm on Friday, closes at 10pm on Friday night, reopens at Sam on Saturday, and will close promptly at 9:30am. Avoid the rush, sign up on Friday night!

Fighters, remember to bring your membership card, authorization card, and lists shield when you come to sign up!

Challenge of the Roses: A Challenge will be starting at the end of 4th round.

Wooden Spoon: "Pickled Foods". All entries to be at the Arts & Sciences Pavilion by the end of the 5th round, please.

Archery: The archery range will be open at most dmes during the event; specific times will be posted aside for practice and for shooting for score. A limited amount of loner equipment will be available.

Site Fee: $6.00 per person; 12 years and under are $4.00.

Merchants: The standard charge of $1.00 per frontage foot will be charged, and all merchants will be required to have proof of a California Sales Permit. You should be able to camp near your booth. Questions? Please contact Becky Mikesell (contact info omitted).

GOOD NEWS: Kelly's Camp was untouched by the Forks Fire, and the adult site fee has been reduced to $5.00. The site opens at Noon on Friday, October 4th, and doses at 5 pm on Sunday, Please call the autocrats if you plan to bring an RV, or you need special camping arrangements due to a handicap.

This site has potable water, some flush toilets, coin-operated showers, fixed barbecues, and a man-made swimming hole. There is also a mini-store on site where you can get ice, charcoal, firewood, beer, pop, snacks, and the like.

Please do not drive over 5 miles per hour at any time on the site. Also, no driving on the eric after dark on Friday, No drums, horns, or other loud noises after Midnight please. Our neighbors do not love the echo as we do. Dogs are okay, but must be kept leashed at all times. No tiki torches, please. The site owner has requested that we bag-up any garbage that we leave that doesn't fit in the cans, so please bring some trash bags.

Arachne's Web: Arachne's Web (the Lacemaker's Guild) will hold the annual meeting behind the Green Duck Bookstore at 1:00 PM. All members and those interested in lacemaking please attend to help plan for the next year.

Page School: There will be a Maze on Saturday. There will be a Boffer Tournament on Sunday. Slgn-ups for the Boffer Tournament will begin at 9 AM on Sunday and close at 9:30 AM. Some loaner equipment will be available.
