Welcome friends! The Canto of Montaigne du Roi invites one and all to its annual Mid-Summer feast. This year's theme is A Country Summer Holiday, Festivities will again include (by popular demand) a Quest! Challenge both mind and body in this most heinous puzzle! There will also be items for raffle and entertainment throughout the day.

The site will open at 12 Noon. The Feast will commence at approximately 5 pm. Bring feast gear. Limited beverages (i.e., iced tea) will be served; please provide your own other beverages if so desired.

Site Fee: Feast tickets are $12.00; smalls 5-12 are $6.00; smaller smalls are free. You must purchase or reserve your ticket from the autocrat by July 10th. There will be no cost for attendance if you do not wish to participate in the Feast; but donations from off-boarders will be gratefully welcomed.

Competitions: Best (most aesthetic) and Best (most original) Cloven Fruit. (Onions and dog biscuits are not fruit; and besides, that's been done before.) Best wall display of device or heraldic art. Wall space will be available. Prizes will be awarded for all competitions.

Important Information: Parking is extremely limited; please carpool (and designate a driver). No open flames in the feast hall. Smoking is not permitted inside the hall. Please be discreet about your alcohol containers; city ordinance prohibits drinking while outside (on the public street).
