Morgan Hill, CA
From The Page (November, 1996):
The fabulous and seasonally appropriate Turkey Tourney is here again. We have something for everyone. The tourney is a Mad Dog tourney with two fat turkey prizes in two categories. The fighting starts at noon and the Helm lunch will begin at noon. Gentlemen start planning your helm lunches now. This is the time for good gentles to show us how well they can do a helm lunch for the ladies. The helm lunch has been a tradition for many years. So kind ladies get ready to have a magnificent helm lunch with a gentleman. There will be a live steel cutting contest so bring your sharp weapons and try your best. So far the Baroness Elizabeth has come the closest to cutting a bottle in half (the rope broke before she could get it all the way through). We will also be having our favorite non-fighting event - boffer chess. Dancing will always be available.
Site Fee: $3.00. List Fee: $1.00
Autocrat: Baroness Mistress Elizabeth of the Blue Rose, (contact info omitted).
