Lights Affray -- Crosston

September 15, 1996 (AS XXXI)

site unknown

From The Page (September, 1996):

The Shire of Crosston is pleased to host the Second Annual Light's Affray. This is a Missile Combatants only war. There will be all kinds of flying weapons, and maybe a siege engine or two thrown in for fun. So get your missile combat authorization done now! Heavy fighters are encouraged to come experience the fun and excitement of light combat. There will also be two A&S competition for on-site poetry/song and best period food (no documentation required, taste is everything!) with spiffy prizes!

Armor inspection begins at 9:30, with listen-ups at 10:30 and the first lay-on at 11:00. Scenarios will vary throughout the day and will conclude with a resurrection battle. There will be no heavy lights or shinai weapons. Boffers will be voted on by the fighter's at the listen-up. Plate is not proof.

Bet you're wondering about the site. We lost our site, but are searching for a new one as this is being written. We intend to send a flyer out to area Seneschale's once a site is secured. You may also contact the Autocrat/MIC for more info at (contact info omitted).
