From The Page (September, 1996):
Sorry to say that the summer is fading and it is time once again to stock-up against the coming winter, yes, the harvest season is upon us again. But word has reached me that poacher's were spotted in the woods and hills of Caer Darth and that means that we shall once again have another glorious Poacher's Feast, for I hear the hunting is good. Planned for this event are games, socializing and fun, fun, fun. The event will run from Noon until 8 PM and the feast is scheduled for 4 PM. Directions will be in the October Page. All attendee's are requested to bring dishes to share (according to Mundane last name); A-F breads, G-L salads, M-S side dishes, and T-Z deserts, enough to feed 8-10. The main dish, (to be announced) will be provided at the feast.
Please make checks out to SCA, Inc. - Shire of Caer Darth and mail to the autocrat at: (address omitted).

From The Page (October, 1996):
The day is drawing nigh - the harvest is coming to an end and a celebration of fun and great food is about to begin. Calling all Poachers. . . Come share Caer Darth's fine catch (from the King's lands) of the season, Tri-tip will be served to all who join us in revelry and fun. We ask that those coming to bring their own spoils to share from their own poached stores. , , (dishes by mundane last name, enough to serve 8 -10) A-D Breads, E-I salads, J-M Vegeterian Dish, N-S Side Dish, T-Z dessert.
We are going for a theme ... Well sort of... And wish to extend an invitation to one and all to come dressed as their favorite royal personage a'la poverty... This is pageantry for the common folk, after all, not like the average peasantry has gold and gems to throw about, but I believe that you get the picture,
Caer Darth prides itself on the fun and frivolity of this event. We are continuing this tradition with such games as; "Plague Rats", site token pilfering, body looting and what ever else that the Lord and Lady of Mis-rule deem within their whim. And who are the Lord and Lady of Mis-Rule you ask? That all depends upon how the cookie crumbles. Come and see if the honor of ruling over our Poacher's feast is part of your fate? Bawdy and comedic songs, poems and filks are most welcome.
Please, bring NO ALCOHOL on site. The site contains a fully licensed bar, due to federal and state laws all alcohol consumed on site must be purchased on site. The site opens at Noon, feast begins at 4pm
Site fee: $7.50 per person, smalls $5.00. For tickets please contact the Autocrat, and make all checks payable to SCA, Inc. - Shire of Caer Darth.
