Senior Citizens Hall,
From The Page (October, 1996):
Greetings from the newly sanctioned shire of Bestwodeshire! We invite you to celebrate our new charter with our second annual Middle Eastern Feast and Shire Champion Tourney, The site will open at 11am with armor inspection at noon and the tourney starting at 12:30, We will also have bocci ball and croquet tournaments with prizes going to the winners. We are also working on games and activities for the children. Fighters, bring your live steel, for we also intend to host a Dolorous Stroke (cutting filled 2 liter bottles w/live steel) contest.
Lady Caillien Montgumrye has planned a wonderful four course authentic Middle Eastern feast to begin around 6:00pm. Entertainment will include songs and dances from Russia, Scotland, Ireland, and of course, the Middle East (after all, what's a Middle Eastern Feast without belly dancers?)
Site Fee: Including the feast is $10.00 RSVP ($15.00 at the door, children under 12 are free), however seating for the feast is limited and reservations are advised. Bring your own feasting gear and as this is a discretely wet site, your own beverages of choice. (Non-alcoholic punch will be available). As this is an all day event, you may want to pack a lunch; or chips and sandwiches will be available for $1.00.
Autocrat: Lady Kestrel Filtarna (contact info omitted). RSVP's can be made by phone with the autocrat or feastocrat (phone).
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
