The Thirty-first Year

Pas d'Armes -- Allyshia

September 27-29, 1996 (AS XXXI)

Allyshian Great Hall,
Humboldt County, CA

From The Page (August, 1996):

The Barony of Allyshia will host the Company of St. George for a glorious day of fighting, feasting and revelry. Please join us in the beautiful cool redwoods for a Pas d'Armes complete with harder and tree of shields. The site will open Friday at noon and will close Sunday evening. The event will be held on Senkyu's estate, just north of Arcata. There is camping space and limited indoor crash space. Hot tub and showers are available to ease your wounds and help you get ready for the feast (which will be held in the Allyshian Great Hall). Bring any banners you might have to add to the atmosphere and enjoyment of the event. Polish your prose for the challenges and try to attempt pre-15th century dress (i.e. no Japanesey stuff). Classes in costuming and fighter footwork will be taught by Kira and Geoffrey of Griffinhold in between the fighting and the feast. Site fee, including the feast by Mary of Dumfries and associates, is $10.00 (children under 12 are free), however seating for the feast is limited and reservations are advised. Bring your own feasting gear and as this is a WET site your own beverage of choice.

Autocrat: William Frasier (contact info omitted)
