Newcomer's Tourney - Southern Shores

The Ancient, Honorable, and Populous Province of Southern Shores invites all (both the New and the New at heart) to our annual Newcomer's Tournament on Sunday, April 21, at John D. Morgan Park in Campbell. There will be our traditional three lists: a Newcomer's list for fighters authorized for 1 year and under, a Newcomer's Hst for fighters authorized for 2 years and under, and a Prize Tourney open to all fighters. As in past years, fighters in the Newcomer's lists must not have won a Tournament. List sign-ups start at 9:30 am. This year there will be classes for those who would like to learn more skills. Some of the classes scheduled are: calhgraphy, drop spinning, cooking for tourneys, basic garb and MORE!!! We will also have hands-on classes in running lists, being lists pages, field Heraldry, Marshaling, and Constabulary work. There will be a consultation table available for those interested in researching or submitting names and devices. If you are interested in teaching a class or would Hke to see a class taught, please contact the Autocrat. The day's official activities will end with the Infamous Southern Shores Raffle, Site Fee is $2.
