Reno Air National Guard Dining Facility,
From The Page (February, 1996):
Bring your dancing shoes and your tastiest dessert to join the Silver Desert for a revel. The revel will be a masque on the theme of Courtly Love, so come with masks. Festivities will begin at 7:00 pm, in the Reno Air National Guard Dining Facility. Along with dancing, there will be games and contests to test your wits and luck. Desserts will be judged and prizes awarded in three catagories, ''period'' dessert, "decadent" dessert, and subtlety (to be judged on presentation). Masks will also be judged and prizes awarded. The Air National Guard asks us to provide a guest list. Please, contact the Autocrat before 5:30 pm, Feb. 9th, to be put on the guest list. The guest list is a courtesy to our military hosts.Persons not on the guest list will be admitted anyway.
Site Fee: $1.00 for each adult who brings a homemade dessert and $4.00 for those who come empty-handed. Children under 12 years are free.
Autocrat: Cyneburh of Cantwaraburg (contact info omitted)
