Cead Mile Failte (A Hundred Thousand Welcomes!) to Montagne du Roi's Midsummer Feast July 8 at the Monterey Masonic Lodge. Site opens at 12 noon with dinner served at 6:00. For your entertainment there will be dancing, contests and a most noble and glorious Quest!
This year's theme is a Gaelic Feast; there will be 3 removes, featuring foods of Ireland. If you have food allergies or other dietary concerns please contact the Feastocrat Caitlin O'Byrne at (phone). Contest will be: best jester (page and adults welcome), best "No $#!% there I was" story, most original and most aesthedc cloven fruit (no watermelons please!), and best period item made with in the last year. Also, impromptu performances will be encouraged as time allows.
Tickets are $10 each and are available from the autocrat, please call for information. Only 80 tickets will be sold—get them early! Last date to purchase is June 28. Alcohol is allowed on site for those of appropriate age.
