The Twenty-ninth Year

Wargy III -- Vair Couvert

February 5, 1995 (AS XXIX)

Ed Levin County Park,
Milpitas, CA

From The Page (December, 1994):

A challenge to all groups to show the mettle of their fighters, artists and artisans, dancers, and support people: Vair Couvert will once again create a map of the Bay and environs, and thereupon hold an all-day resurrection battle for fun and treasure. Each group who wishes to hold territory of their own must bring contributions to the treasure chests and support for the war (marshalls, water bearers, constables); all others are welcome to come, hire on to a territorial group, and play.

There will be provisions for using boats on the bay, and standard West Kingdom war conventions will be in effect (sorry, no BOWS allowed on the site, so no archery). Additionally, there will be various arts, sciences, games, and dancing to enjoy. More detailed information will be forthcoming in the January Page; additionally, a mailing will be sent to the address of the branch seneschal (listed in this issue of the Page; if this address is incorrect, please call the Autocrat before December 16 with the correction) for the branches bordering the Bay, requesting an RSVP. ANY branch may participate as a territory; if your branch is interested, contact the Autocrat before January 13 and a mailing will be sent to you. All groups who RSVP will be given their own territory to hold.

Directions: (omitted)

Autocrat: Lydia Brittanica (name/contact info).
