Cottonwood Park,
Sparks, NV
From The Page (May, 1994):
It is time once again to welcome new members into the Society by holding a tourney in their honor (and also entice them with a sample of sights, crafts and entertainment they may see at an event). Some of the activities planned include the annual fighter auction (will your fighter survive all comers?), a contest for a new wall hanging design, and a swap meet (bring any trim, material or tourney items to swap or barter). The site is available to us from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Site fee is $2, children under 10 free.
There will be a pot luck revel at the site afterwards. Bring a side dish to serve five or six people and your own meat to cook. The site has six large stone tables around a fire pit, so if you have a sunshade or day pavilion that will fit over one of the tables, please bring it to add to the festive atmosphere.
Autocrat: Ekaterina Ilichna Sukurakova (name/contact info), no calls after 10 p.m.
Directions: (omitted).
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
