Colusa County Fairgrounds,
From The Page (August, 1994):
War units attention. It is time for the Third Annual Sons of Iniquity War Unit Tourney. This year we will be holding our tourney on the flat green grass of the Colusa County Fair Grounds (no star thistles).
We have decided, due to popular demand, to return to the Olympic style format of the first years tourney. War units will be participating in open field battles, bridge and castle battles, and of course, the dreaded blood of the saints battle (with slight modifications for safety considerations). The overall winning unit of the days battles will fly the victor's pennant for the next year.
The rule and regulations for the tourney will be available to interested units by contacting the autocrat.
After the fighting, the Sons of Iniquity invite all to a pot luck feast in the beer garden area where we plan to revel 'til we kick ya out.
Site fee will be $6 per person and children under 12 are free.
Showers are available on the site.
Each war unit participating will be expected to provide one authorized marshal and their own water bearers.
A keg and a limited supply of soda will be provided at the revel.
Autocrat: Christian du Glaive (name/contact info).
