Purgatorio Coronation will be held at the Old Goulburn Brewery in Goulbum, New South Wales, Australia. This is a real, functioning brewery. A group rate flight has been arranged to fly United Airlines to Sydney for $813. For more information on flights contact Seelie Brianna Sutherland (phone). The site fee is Australian $60 before the event or Australian $80 at the door. The site fee includes all the food you could possibly eat, all day Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the usual coronation festivities there will be merchants, games, fireworks, tournaments, plays, an Elizabethan breakfast and more.
Competitions: Arts - decorative armor and non-metallic headgear; Sciences - (practical) wine and mead and (technical) armor; Pied d'Argent - Canarios; Wooden Spoon - Succats. There will also be a people's choice, non-Laurel, arts and sciences competition. Each local group is asked to send a maximum of two examples of any art or science, from which the populace will choose the winning entries. So they don't feel left out, a separate Laurels-only competition will also be held; all Laurels are encouraged to enter.
