From The Page (September, 1994):
Look out West Kingdom, the unthinkable has happened. The Sons of Iniquity are autocratting October Crown at the Colusa County Fairgrounds in beautiful Colusa. Fear not though, we promise to be on our best behavior.
Those who have been to the site before will remember the huge tracts of flat lawns, flush privies, and showers. We have reserved the entire site so there should be plenty of room for camping. We plan on having enough room for a large and spacious eric, an officers row reserved for kingdom officers and arts and sciences competitions, a quiet end of camp as well as the end we will be at, and of course, merchants row.
Competitions: Arts - Lace-Punto de Aria and related needle laces, and sacred (style) vocal music performance; Sciences - drinking vessels, and timepieces; Pied d'Argent - Washerwoman's bransle; Arachne's Web -lace on a garment or accessory; Wooden Spoon - jams, jellies or preserves.
Equestrians, we plan to have horses at this event. We have reserved the equestrian arena and stables for your horses. Stables will be for rent for $10 per day; you provide bedding and feed. Stables will be available by reservation in advance, call the autocrat. Pets on this site are OK but they must be under the owners control (leashed) at all times.
The site fee is $6 per person and $3 for ages 10 and under. Merchant fee is $10. Sorry, due to site regulations there can be no food merchants.
Autocrat: Christian du Glaive (contact info).
