The Principality of the Mists wishes to invite everyone to come to the Newcomers Collegium. This collegium is designed specifically for those individuals who have been in the SCA less than one year but there will be something for everyone. The following topics will be discussed in one hour time slots:
Clothing -- How to wear your garb and not feel like a geek.
Arts and Sciences -- What do you mean if you can beat it with a stick its a science?
History of the West -- In the beginning, or how we all got started.
Courtesy -- To bow or not to bow.
Heraldry -- What do those symbols mean and why does everybody have two names?
Fighting -- Doesn't it hurt when you get hit?
How to survive an event
Clases will begin promptly at 10 a.m. and will run approximately one hour. There will be a break for lunch. Bring your own lunch or try the restaurants in the area.
Site Fee is $2 per person. Children 12 and under are free.
