The Twenty-ninth Year

Provo di Amore -- Canale

February 4 April 15, 1995 (AS XXIX)

Phoenix Hall,
Winton, CA

From The Page (January, 1995):

The Shire of Canale is pleased to host the fifth Provo di Amore Tournament at Phoenix Hall. At this tournament, the champion is a nameless entity, and any honor earned goes to their consort inspiration, in celebration of the original ideals of the SCA, as well as the period romances. If the weather is nice, fighting will be outside with a tree of chivalry for fighting selection; if the weather is inclement, fighting will be inside Phoenix Hall over a barrier. A feast will be provided after the tournament. Site restrictions limit the attendance to 60 people, so call the autocrat for reservations.

The $15 site fee includes the Tournament, a light lunch, and dinner.

Due to site safety concerns, the Shire regrets that no pets or children under 6 will be allowed.

Autocrat: Olof Guddmunddsson (name/contact info).
