From The Page (November, 1994):
Come all good gentles to the annual Beaconsgate Boar Hunt and Feast. Hunt a boar or be a boar. Packs of hounds (armored) and dogs (unarmored) are also needed. Reports are that the skunk population is on the rise this year (all participants be on the lookout lest you get "skunked"). After the hunt enjoy a medieval feast in two removes in our rustic lodge. Tickets are limited, so order now. Mail orders must be received by December 1, 1994. All orders after that will be held at the door. This feast is prone to selling out, so please plan accordingly.
Ticket prices are: Feast and Hunt, Adult $15 and Children $8; Feast only, Adult $13 and Children $7; Hunt only, Adult $5 and Children $2. In order to comply with new West Kingdom directives, please specify whether you are a member of the society or a non-member when ordering tickets. (Non-members do not pay more.) Please call the autocrat if you have any dietary restrictions. Send ticket orders to the autocrat and make checks payable to "S.C.A. Inc., Shire of Beaconsgate."
The hunt begins at 10 a.m. The feast begins in the lodge at Camp Herms at 4p.m. No alcohol is permitted on site. This event will be held rain or shine.
Autocrat: Anne of Shaftesbury (name/contact info).
