Site: Chestnut Park (Davis) / St. Luke's Episcopal Church (Woodland), CA
From The Page (March, 1994):
Come showcase your chivalry and display your honor at our turn of the fifteenth century passage of arms to be held in the beautiful rear grove of Chestnut Park in Davis (trust me). Beller than any prize, what everyone can win at this event is honor and praise. A pamphlet describing the structure of this tournament and giving maps and site details is available trom the autocrat, please call or write for it. After fighting we shall feast heartily on roast pork, ember-day tarts, soup, funges, gingerbread, and more. During the feast we shall speak of the great deeds of honor performed that day, so that your names can be washed with glory. Highlights will include: combat at the barrier, tokens for honorable deeds, and a helmet display in the feast hall. The feast will be in the Guild Hall of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Woodland, a brick and half timber building with a big brick fireplace and open-beam ceiling.
Ticket prices: Pas d' Armes only $1; Feast - Adult $8, Student $7, Children 6-12 $4, Children 5 and under free. We feel it is important to keep site fees low, especially now with increasing college fees and S.C.A. membership fees. We have a limited number of feast tickets, so reserve yours early.
Autocrat: Morgan Athenry (name/contact info).
