Site: Ed Levin Park, Milpitas, CA
From The Page (January, 1994):
It's time once again to gather your forces to defend your territory. Yes, the now annual Wargy will be taking place at Ed Levin Park in Milpitas. Just like last year, it will be an all day resurrection battle. The battle field will be divided by barony, shire, canton, etc. boundary lines. Basically we are going to make a map on the field. Each group that attends must not only bring their own troops, hired or otherwise, but they must also bring a banner, and a treasure chest filled with fortunes worthy of the "pride" of the group. The group who not only survives the day, but also conquers the most territory and treasure wins. Pretty simple. For any scenario questions please call the seneschal. For those of you who are not fighters, there will be several arts and sciences competitions, including, but not limited to: best war banner, best field rations (either cooked on site, or a food that can be carrier onto the field as is), and best form of payment for fighters/mercenaries. There will also be a dance class for "Bransle de Guerre", with a possible competition to be held later in the day.
Autocrat: Katherine ni Cheallaigh of Skye (name/contact info).
