The Twenty-eighth Year

Outlaw Feast -- Tarnmist

October 16, 1993 (AS XXVIII)

From The Page (September, 1993):

In 1314, Jaques De Molay, Grand Master of the Templars, was burned at the stake and his order declared outlaw by the Pope and the King of France. Now, three years later, rumors arise of a secret gathering of the order in the French barony of Tarnmist. This gathering is rumored to include a tournament with a Templar theme, and a primarily middle eastern feast for those members of the order who are homesick. Certainly the Templars who arrive I will be disguised and there has been offered a reward to those who discover the most secret Templars: likewise for the Templar with the best disguise. It is rumored that the order managed to hide the greater part of its wealth, hence there will be a quest for the secret hoard.

The tourney site opens at 10:30 a.m. The lists open with the site, fighting to commence with the first two fighters armored. Tourney ends at 4 p.m. The feast site is the recreation hall at Silver City Trailer Park, (address omitted), San Luis Obispo.
