The winner of the prize list will receive a Blackmere tourney box. The winner of the Captaincy will receive the mantle and responsibilities of his commission. The other competitions will include but will not be limited to an open calligraphy/illumination contest for consideration in the choosing of the Captain; any period style. Entries will be displayed at the site and will be judged by those attending the event. At least two prizes to be awarded: one for best calligraphy and one for best illumination. Multiple entries are acceptable, and entries can be combined (separate artists, same entry, etc.) A beading competition will also be held, for beads used as jewelry, and beads used as decoration. Pieces need not be done on site. Glass, metallic and natural material beads only. Any S.C.A. period, all cultures welcome.
