The Twenty-eighth Year

Championship Tourney -- St. Cassian of Imola

September 18, 1993 (AS XXVIII)

Site: C.S.U., Sacramento, CA

From The Page (September, 1993):

As a new school year begins, it is time for Arthur Lacey to step down and for the scholars of the College of St. Cassian of Imola to choose a new champion. The champion of the College must be skilled in the arts and sciences as well as martial combat. As we have in previous years, there will be a series of contests. Contestants will receive a letter grade in each "class" they enter. The contestant with the highest G.P.A. (grade point average) will be the next champion. The contests will include: sciences, arts, a tournament list, and medieval "jeopardy". Competitors will begin with a sciences competition (so you don't need to armor up right away). The competitions tend to take some time, so we want an early start. Site opens at 9 a.m., contests begin at 10 a.m. Please be prompt. There is no site fee, but parking does cost $1.75. Purchase a parking token from the box in the Union parking lot, and you can park in that or the black and green lots.
