Southern Shores invites the populace of the West to participate in their Newcomer's Tournament on Saturday June 26 at John D. Morgan Park in Campbell. The site opens at 9 a.m. The site fee is $2.
There will be a Newcomer's (one year) list, a Novice (two year) list and a prize tourney list. Sign-ups begin at 9 a.m. To participate in the Newcomer's list, you must not have won a tournament before.
For non fighters we will have a haunkerhauser list; jeaux de ball; and dancing. The herald's consultation table will be set up and there will be voice heraldry training. There will be an illumination contest for children of all ages. There will also be a Southern Shores Raffle, featuring Talitha Kupke's fabulous truffles.
There will be no feast and the site closes at dusk.
