It is once again time to journey to Earngyld (Juneau, AK) for Summer Coronet and Investiture. The event will be held at Southeast Alaska United Methodist Camp, located in a lovely wooded area about 27 miles from Juneau. There is no alcohol, firearms or fireworks permitted on site. There is a lodge, nine sleeping cabins and plenty of space for pavilions. The cabins will sleep about 60 people (collectively, not each). Please let us know if you will be bringing a pavilion or need to bunk in a cabin. Bedding is not provided for the cabins, so please bring sleeping bags.
The site and food fee is $25 for adults and $12 for children 13 and under. The following meals will be provided: Saturday breakfast, lunch, evening feast and Sunday brunch.
Contests: Prince's Whim - Pirate style shirts (He wears and XL). Princess's Whim - useful accessories in any mode and M&M's in any mode (Princess Margarita's official snack food of Oertha). Also, fighters pennants and either a poem or song about a great battle or heroic adventure to be presented at the bardic circle. Can be original, filk, or someone else's work.
Contact the autocrat to arrange transportation from the airport or the ferry terminal. She will need to know arrival and departure times.
