As camping space is becoming tighter, please unload your vehicles and remove them to the parking lot before setting up you pavilion, tent, etc. The camping area across the creek will be available this year. All stoves, hibachis, lanterns, and other sources of flame must be kept off the ground and never left unattended. Keep all dogs leashed, and keep them away from the pond. The site is bounded by a road, and creek (dry this time of year, but the drop off can be a hazard after dark), and the pond is 8 feet deep, so watch your children.

Yellow jackets are plentiful at the site. Nice big open sleeved garments are ideal for scooping up these evil tempered beasties, so wear close fitting sleeves. Do not leave drinks or food sitting around at attract these insects. Pour your drinks into tankards or mugs so that you can see what you are drinking. Chirurgeons reported 100 odd stings last October Crown at this site. If you are sensitive to bee or wasp stings, bring your bee sting kit with you and make sure somebody in your party knows where it is and how to use it. Construct or buy "yellow jacket traps", and place them where people won't knock them over.
