Mists Fall Coronet Tournament

The Principality of the Mists will gather once again for the Fall Coronet Tourney at Coyote Lake County Park in Gilroy. The site opens at noon on Friday; if you arrive before noon, you have kindly volunteered to help with set up. The site fee is $5 per person, and the parking fee is $4 per vehicle per night. Alcohol is permitted on site for those who are over 21 years of age. There are no ground fires allowed; candles are allowed only if enclosed. Pets must be on a leash. There will be no driving on the grass, no exceptions. The permanent on site privies mayor may not be usable, we will be providing portable privies. There are no shower facilities, but there is LIMITED city water available for drinking. The parking for day trippers is quite limited, please carpool.

S.C.A. merchants are welcome; the country fee for merchants is to be determined.

Standard West Kingdom Rules apply for the tournament. Their Highnesses are asking all fighters to please bring their pennants for display on the eric. The lists table will be open Friday night from 7 p.m to 10 p.m. On Saturday, the lists table will open at 8 a.m. and close at 9:30 a.m., armor inspection will be between 9 and 10 a.m. Court will be at 10 a.m. and the list will begin at 11 a.m. Between the third round and semi-finals, there will be a Dames de La Mer Tournament (fresh water pearls).

Archery may be announced at the site if certain conditions can be worked out. The arts competition is bedding; the sciences competition is beds; and the Silver Spoon competition is apples, pears, winter fruit.

There will be a Mists management meeting at 9 a.m. on Sunday. Starting at 10 a.m. there will be an arts display and refreshments at the royal pavilion. Dancing, croquet and a live boffer chess tourney will be held on the eric. Closing court will be at 2 p.m.
