From The Page (January, 1994):
Come friends, one and all, and revel with us as "The Shire of the Mountain place of the Dancing Women" harken back to it's roots. First we shall relax upon carpets and pillows as the feast unfolds, reveling in a variety of dishes to tempt and caress the palate. The feast will run from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Entertainment will enhance the evening with belly dancing and other surprises. All are invited to dance, bring your dance garb. For those of you who desire, there is crash space available, bring your own bedding. The site fee is $6 plus two canned food items which will be donated to the local good closet. Children 12 and under are $3. On Sunday morning there will be a Saracen style tourney. An Arabic-looking surcoat or outer layer will go a long ways in earning points at the tourney. There will be prizes in a variety of categories. For details, call the autocrat. There is a $1 entry fee for the tourney.
Autocrat: El Kabir/Madog of Gwynedd (name/contact info).
