Site: U.C. Berkeley, CA
From The Page (March, 1994):
Oyez! Oyez! All heralds, would-be-heralds and non-heralds are invited to attend the West Kingdom Heralds' Collegium on Saturday, April 9, the name research meeting on Friday, and the Heraldry meeting on Sunday. Free. The collegium will have three tracks of hands-on, lecture and discussion classes. Whether you are new to heraldry or. experienced, there should be something to interest you. If you have ever thought about doing heraldry, this is a good opportunity to find out whether you like it. Come learn new heraldic skills or brush up on old skills for the new tourney season. Some of the classes currently planned include: Beginning Blazon, Intermediate Blazon, How to Research in the S.C.A. Ordinary, Early Romano-British and Old Welsh Names, Anglo-Saxon Names, How to Use (not abuse) Your Voice, How to Run the Field/Duty Heralds at Events, How to Organize/Run A Court, and Heralding of a Mock Court. The site will be the U.C. Berkeley campus (the same site as the Spring Collegium Occidentalis). We have rooms in Barrows Hall. The site opens at 8 a.m. There will be an introduction at 8:30 and the first classes will start at 9 a.m. If you would like to attend the Friday and/or Sunday meetings and need crash space, contact the autocrat.
Autocrat: Juturna di Parma (name/contact info).
