The Canton of Borderwinds invites you to join us for our annual "Court of Love" celebration. Get you muscles loose for the upcoming tourney season and then sit down and enjoy the feast.
The theme for this year's feast is "Vikings in North America". Those attending are encouraged to dress in garb appropriate to the theme, though it is not required.
Competitions for the day are: Arts - Viking or Native American jewelry (limited to eastern coastal tribes only; documentation is required); Sciences - fletching; Cooking - pumpkins galore (any dish made with pumpkin); other competitions will include: best garb related to the theme of the feast and best show of mourning. Other on site competitions will be announced. Fighter competitions will include: Best death, best fight, best salute to consort, and best salute to opponent.
The evening's revelry will include an auction and dancing.
The site will open at 9 a.m, with armor inspection beginning at 9:15 a.m. The tourney will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The feast hall will open at 5 p.m. with the feast starting promptly at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m.
Showers are available on the site. Crash space is also available, but please contact the autocrat prior to the event.
Site Fee for the tourney only is $3. Feast tickets are $8.50 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under if purchased before the day of the event. Feast tickets will be $1 more the day of the event.
