Come all good gentles to the annual Beaconsgate Boar Hunt and Feast. Come hunt a boar or be a boar (but don't be a boor). Packs of hounds (armored) and dogs (unarmored) are also needed. After the hunt, enjoy the authentic (documentable) medieval feast in two removes, featuring historic post hunt dishes. Seating is limited, so order tickets now. Mail orders must be received by December 1 (tickets are usually not available at the door).
Ticket prices are: Feast and Hunt, Adult $15 and Children $8; Feast only, Adult $13 and Children $7; Hunt only, Adult $4 and Children $2. Those with special circumstances (dietary, etc.) should call the autocrat. Send ticket orders to the autocrat and make checks payable to "S.C.A. Inc. Shire of Beasonsgate"
The hunt begins at 10 a.m. The feast begins at the lodge, at Camp Herms, at 4 p.m. No alcohol is permitted on site.
