This tourney will be held at the Tanana Valley Fairground. Set-up is on the 7th and the compound will be dismantled on the 10th. There will also be a fighter practice/demo the evening of the 10th.
All contests require written documentation (450 AD-1700 AD).
1. Costume Contest. Must be modeled. This contest is open to the general public as well.
2. Animal Product Foods Dish. Written complete recipes must be included in documentation. Foods allowed will include recipes using milk products, eggs, meats, gelatins, aspics, etc. SCA members only. Entries can not be prepared on site.
3. Science Competition. All areas of the sciences are eligible. You must produce a product, demonstrate its use, and prove that it is a science and not an art.
Other events planned so far are: Autumn Fair Tournament, 2 to 3 fighting demos, registered potluck feast, dance demo and audience participation, exhibition of SCA arts, sciences, skills, etc. and Ivory Thimble Tea.
No site fee, but there is a charge to get in the Fair. Fair passes will be limited to those who volunteer to help=contact the autocrat before August 1st to get a pass). Parking will be free. Only garbed participants may enter the compound unless involved in audience participation dances. To include sitting or eating within the compound. Some gold key available. No alcohol allowed.
