| The Prologue (Hirsch von Henford aka Ken Mayer) (The title of the play is "arlecchino's Surprise" -- the surprise is that there's no Arlecchino. We played with it. The script calls for "the ubiquitous bench" -- we decided to name the bench that William of the Merlands (Craig Carter) created for us "Arlecchino") "To Play Arlecchino we tried to get Mel Gibson. We did the best we could -- we got Patrick Stewart." (We were going to put a picture of Patrick Stewart on the bottom of the bench -- good thing no one asked where he was -- we would have turned over the bench, but forgot to do the picture ...) |
