From The Page (May, 1992):

Join us at San Lorenzo Regional Park in King City (Monterey County), the same site used for the previous three June Crowns. The site also has W-I-N-D at times; extra-long tent stakes are highly recommended. The site has portable and flush toilets and showers. To ease the strain on the flush privies, we have ordered twelve chemical privies; please use them whenever possible. Elevated fires will be permitted in designated areas.

We have a beautiful lawn to camp and play on, but we can't drive our cars onto it, so bring your carts, helpers, etc. Please be advised that as a courtesy to non-SCA campers at the park, these campers have priority using the showers.

This year the site fee is $16 per car (make checks payable to SCA, Inc., Kingdom of the West). Please carpool - if there are at least three people per car, the fee will be more reasonable for you, and parking will be easier for all of us.

Merchants are welcome, and the SCA will not charge a merchant's fee above the standard site fee. However, Monterey County will collect a fee of 7% of gross receipts for all items sold by merchants at San Lorenzo Park, which the Kingdom Exchequer will collect for the county.

Competitions: Arts or Sciences (Scholarship/Special Category): Map Making-Locate your Persona in time and space--make a map locating and defining your persona in time. This may be entered as either a FINE ART or a TECHNICAL SCIENCE. Arts (Fine Arts): Calligraphy, pre 13th century text, please document. Science (Practical): Kites. Wooden Spoon: Sweets to the Sweet (recipes containing sweeteners other than sugar). Pied d'Argent: Heart's Ease.

Archery will be conducted on Saturday and Sunday, with lKAC ompetitions, Royal Rounds, practice, and instruction. Contact the Kingdom Royal Archer for more information on archery.

Autocrat: Eoin Toirr an Dhragoin (name/contact info).
