From The Page (May, 1992):
All are invited to walk with us on our second annual Pilgrimage for Hope. We will be meeting at 9 A.M. to begin our long walk. The starting point of the Pilgrimage is Turnagain Elementary School, at (address omitted) Blvd., Anchorage. If you are interested, please contact the autocrat for information and a pledge sheet.
Those interested are welcome to try the Pilgrimage in their armor. No one will be expected to do the entire 23 miles. If all you can do is make it to the first checkpoint, that is fine. There will be at least one support vehicle operating, so when you quit, there will be transport available. The support staff will also provide refreshments, storage for any items you do not wish to carry, etc. There may be a revel after The Pilgrimage; if so, it will be announced on the Walk.
This event will raise money for Hope Cottage, another non-profit organization, and create positive publicity for our barony.
Autocrat: Donal Madan (name/contact info).
