Join the Barony of Eskalya in the celebration of Baroness Penelope's birthday. The site opens at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, (address omitted), Anchorage. Alcohol is not allowed at this site. The site fee is $8; $5 for the feast and $3 for the site. Children 12 and under are $4.
The Baroness's Champion Tourney will be held in a bear pit. A flower is the fee for entry into the lists. The current Princess and Baroness's Champion will be accepting challenges for Her Highness', Her Excellency and the Queen of Love and Beauty.
The contests are heraldic display (anything but garb); dance - Road to Kilburn; table decorations (there are 8 foot round tables on site); and wearable roses, sponsored by the Queen of Love and Beauty. There will be prizes awarded for the best death and for ferocity on the field.
There will be an arts and sciences display table, so bring your projects. A feast will be provide so be sure to bring your feast gear and the non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. Baronial and principality courts will be held after the feast. Children's activities will be announced on site.
