First Sword Tourney -- Esfenn

Time again to call forth fighters for a tourney from which legends are made. Will you be the one to lead Esfenn into battle and continue the recent tradition of moving on to ever more glorious rewards? Our last two First Swords became princes! Come and claim the right!

The First Sword competition is open to all fighters of the West and the winner will become the military spokesman/representative and field commander for the Shire. The shire will also hold a Prize Tourney and activities for non-fighters. A revel will follow the days efforts and achievements.

Legendary ... that's Esfenn's First Sword Tourney, our champions and our site favors! Yes, our site favors, better than ever for this our 10th anniversary.

To all fighters of the West, claim the right to become our military representative and field commander. It is well known that winning this honor may lead to more glorious rewards!

The site, Weekes Park in Hayward, opens at 9 A.M. Lists sign-ups begin at 9:30, armor inspections at 10:30 and fighting at 11:30 A.M., sharp! Activities to entertain and amaze all continue throughout the day. A Prize Tourney is also sponsored. The site fee is $5.

The day's achievements will be celebrated with a revel/pot luck in the evening. Esfenn will provide a selection of meats. Suggestions of dishes to bring are: LAST NAMES A-G: fruits and salads; H-N: main dishes; O-U: breads and cheeses and V-Z: deserts

Other activities, such as tavern games, dancing and more will entertain one and all through-out the day.
