On Saturday there will be a pun contest. The contest will be judged in two categories (Quality and Quantity) taxed at $.25 per pun. The winner in each category will have a "Pun Off" at the end of the day. The winner will receive the amount collected in pun taxes, so bring your quarters and your puns!
Saturday evening there will be the Barony Bardic Contest. Rules: one period piece (documentation needed), one piece declaring how wonderful the Baron(ness) or Barony is, and one piece of your choice. The winner will autocrat next years Barony Bardic Contest!
Here is a list of some of the classes:
The Principles of Authentic Ninjutsu Movement (non-contact and wear loose clothing); How to Put Your Device on a Ceramic Tile (ceramics to be fired later); Basic Needlepoint; Basic Leather; Basic Tatting (fee $5, limit 10 students); Fletching; Marshalling; Leather Works (fee $1); Medieval Castle-Its Design and Construction; Leather Cuffs; Storytelling; How to Make Cordials, Mead and Ale (bring some of yours to taste; you must be 21 years or older to take this class).
Sunday there will be archery practice and fighting practice. Merchants are welcome! The site fee is $4 per car per night and $3 per person.
