The Shire of Mountain's Gate is hosting Cynagua's Winter Investiture at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth. The site fee is $5, 12 and under free. Merchants fee is $10. There is ample parking a short walk from the halls.
We are using three halls for this event so there'll be plenty of room for dining, arts and science displays (bring 'em if you have 'em) merchants, dancing and other fine entertainment. Please bring your banners.
There will be a Princess' Champion List scheduled between courts. As well, we are preparing an authentic Saxon feast featuring a whole roast pig, exquisite soups, glorious sweets with libations included for $8. Tickets are on sale through January 20. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Please bring your own feast gear. There are no kitchen facilities available for those not participating in the feast. There are electrical outlets for heating.
Merchants: There are large tables available for merchants. Contact the autocrat for more information.
No pets are allowed on site.
Contests: Copper Spoon, Fruit Pastry - remember to provide documentation; Arts, Musical Performance - music written prior to 1620; Calligraphy - a poem, not necessarily original; Illumination - open, can be done in combination with calligraphy entry.
