From The Page (September, 1992):
Come one, come all to our Harvest Feast! This year's theme is the victory of the English over the French at the Battle of Agincourt. All lords and ladies are requested to wear garb from between the years 1400 and 1450. (The battle was on October 25, 1415). This means essentially houppelandes or sideless surcoats for the ladies, and houppelandes of full or 3/4 length for the men.
There will be a feast of three removes which will include such dishes as egredouce frumenty, blancmange, bursews, a great pie, fig pudding, honey almond cheesecake, and a subtlety. The feast will be preceded by a Baronial Curia and a wedding. There will be a bardic competition for the best song bashing the French.
The Curia will commence at 1 P.M. The feast is planned to begin at 6 P.M. In between will be the wedding. The hall closes at around midnight.
The cost is $10 for members, $12 for nonmembers.
Crash space is available, call the Autocrat for that, or with any questions:
