Yule at The Copper House on the UAF campus. As usual, Copper House does not permit the consumption of alcohol. Setup for the event begins at 10 A.M., and cleanup at 8:30 P.M. The feast starts at 6 P.M. House Mirabilus will provide meats and hot cider. The rest of the meal is to be divided amongst the populace in the following manner:
By legal last name: A-K-salads; L-Z-breads, cheeses, fruit, desserts, nuts.
Entertainments and competitions: Boffer tourney (inside); Yule decoration competition (brought or made on site); Riddle Quest; Most chivalrous lord and lady competition; Most delicious, documented, traditional Yuletide delicacy; Story in the round; Dancing Tree trimming; Christmas Bazaar (all merchants wecome-RSVP); Basket lunch auction (baskets from ladies and lords welcome); and a Pinata of our treasures
Site fee: $5, $3 if you bring feast contributions or a lunch basket.
Information for a post-event bardic and revel will be available at the event. All sources of song and music are solicited and appreciated.
