In the old days, before Crown Lists got so long, challenge matches were a regular feature of Western combat. They survive in the Province of the Mists' Open-the-Tourney-Season Tourney, traditionally the week before March Crown. Bring your new armour and your old memories to Cragmont Park (we used to hold Crown Tourneys here!) and spend a pleasant, unstressed day hitting your friends with sticks. A prize will be awarded for the most ingeniously worded challenge: no other competitions will take place. Bring your lunch. If any body volunteers to host a post-revel, we'll supply directions at the site.
