This year's Mist's Spring Investiture will join together with the Spring Banquet for a delightful day of fun and revelry. The site is Crockett Communit Center, (address), Crockett, CA 94525. The site fee (payable on the day of the event) is $3. This is a wet site. Candles are okay as long as they are enclosed. (No open flames!).
The Arts Competition 'Illumination' will be held in the morning-see the Minister of Arts when you arrive.
Feast your eyes and palates on the fine delicacies from our friends in Russia. This feast in three removes will sport such tasty tidbits as mock wild boar, plov, and borscht. Not for the dieter, this feast is sure to make one and all Russian for the evening. Off board space will be available for those who choose to revel but not participate in the feast.
Mist Spring Banquet tickets are $9 per person and must be purchased in advance. Only 200 tickets will be sold. The last day to buy tickets will be Friday, May 3rd. The tickets are available by mail from the Autocrat of the feast, Anastasia Ivanovna (name/contact info). Please make checks payable to "SCA Principality of the Mists". TiCkets will also be available at all major events.
Help is still needed for both the Feast and Invesiture. If you are interested in working in the kitchen or serving please contact the Feastocrat, Anastasia. If you are interested in helping with Investiture please contact the Autocrat, Branwen ferch Emrys, (phone).
