Rancho Seco Park is the site for this year's March Crown Tournament. The gates will open at 12 noon. Friday March 20th and close at 5 p.rn. Sunday. The site fee is $3, children under 12 free, with no additional charge for merchants (see note below). Eric space is limited.

The site has an abundance of grass and shade, some flush privies (with access for the handicapped), a small souvenir/general store, also a small lake, with swimming, fishing, and boating. Pets must remain leashed, and Kingdom fire laws are in effect.

Competitions: Arts (performance): Vocal performance, may be solo or group, style should be consistent with SCA period. Please document. Sciences: (practical) Period Lighting. Sciences: (Technical) Crafts, Ceramics.

Merchants: We like merchants. We want merchants. Lots of merchants. But the County Board of Supervisors has stated that any sale of goods in county parks will be taxed. They will take from you 15% of your GROSS sales. If any merchant still plans on selling at this event, please contact Ann Panteya at (916) 366-2936 for licensing information. Ann is a wonderful woman who greatly helped steer us through Sacramento County's red-tape. Please do not call her to complain about these charges. Call the County Board of Supervisors,

The Kingdom Minister of Sciences, Sabrina Goldbender cordially invites all of the Science officers in the Kingdom to a tea party in her pavilion on Saturday at March Crown following the Sciences Competition. The purpose of this is for me to meet you all and for us all to get to know each other. Cookies would be greatly appreciated and don't forget to bring a teacup.

The Hands-On Arts & Sciences will be Basketry (supplies limited).
