From The Page (May, 1991):
June Crown will once again be held in the glorious San Lorenzo Regional Park in King City (Monterey County). This site has privies (portable and flush) and showers. Elevated fires are permitted in designated areas. The site opens at 9am on Friday and closes at 4pm on Sunday. This year the site fee is $15 per car (Make checks payable to SCA, Inc., Kingdom of the West). Please carpool -- if there are at least three people to a car, the fee will reasonable for you and parking will be easier for all of us. Cars may not be brought onto the grass; please bring carts or other carrying implements for setting up your camp.
The County of Monterey collects a fee of 7% of gross receipts for all items sold by merchants at the San Lorenzo Park. The SCA will not impose any additional merchant fees at June Crown.
The Wooden Spoon competition for June Crown is "Berries for Berrie", and the Pied d'Argent dance is "Dit de Burgundy". The Arts competition is "Jewelry Anything" and the Science competition is "Tanning and Spinning".
There will be an Archery field set up on Saturday and Sunday; IKAC and Royal Round competitions will be held both days.
Autocrat: Greggor of Caer Darth (name/contact info).
