Champclair has sought a peaceful solution in their dispute with Vinhold over water rights to the Lake of Berries. Alas, diplomatic efforts have failed & our armies will clash! Worse yet, Wolfscairn, seeing the breach between former allies, is fielding its own army! The peace of our Kingdom is to be shattered by a 3-way war! There will be castle, river, field, & resurrection battles! Half of the battles will have archers, so bring your arrowscreen! An IKAC will be held Saturday afternoon & counts toward war points.
THE SITE is centrally located with a large battlefield, good parking, flush privies, & potable water. There is little shade so bring your day pavillions. Dogs & pets are not allowed (& strictly enforced by Park Rangers). It is a WET SITE, no glass containers, please. This is th e1st SCA event at the park, so help us make a good impression so we can use it again!
THE SITE is Lagoon Valley Regional Park, half-way between San Francisco & Sacramento. (Directions omitted)
The site opens at 8 am, armor inspection begins at 9:30 am, & closes at 6 pm. The park toll booth charges $3 per car to enter (CASH ONLY0, & our constables will ask for an additional $2 per adult to cover site fees & expenses. So if you arrive with 2 adults per car, your total cost would be $3.50 each ... (MERCHANTS: the County does not allow sales in the park. Sorry!)
