Purgatorio Coronation

August 25-26, 1990 (AS XXV)

Greetings to you the populace of the West & all other Kingdoms. The Barony of Allyshia is once again hosting Purgatorio this year. On August 25th & 26th, 1990. It will be at the same site as last year in Hydesville, Humbolt Co., Northern California. The site is a private working ranch & we'll be in a mowed pasture.

The SITE FEE will be $5 for 12 years & older, & under 12 is free. The merchants fee is $10. The site will be open at noon on Thursday August 23rd, & close at 3 pm on Tuesday August 28th & no later. There will be a water truck on site so bring your water carriers. Fires will be restricted to braziers, camp stoves, & other off the ground devices, except for the Bardic Circle bonfire. Dogs MUST be kept on a leash (& cleaned up after). Please bring your own garbage bags for waste disposal.

COMPETITIONS: ARTS: Calligraphy/Painting; SCIENCES: Scholarship / Woodcarving; WOODEN SPOON: Bean anything; DANCE: Monschaft Pavan; & don't forget to bring your entries for the PANDYBAT competition.

*** ATTENTION *** THERE WILL BE A QUEEN'S CHAMPION LISTS ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON AFTER THE CORONATION. PLEASE BRING YOUR ARMOR & ENTER THE LISTS!

There will be an auction on Saturday night. This is NOT a slave auction. All donations of services, goods, & crafts are most welcomed. Please bring them to the blue & white Hrassvelg pavilion between 8 am & 12 noon. Please let it be known that ALL services, crafts, & goods MUST be deliverable on site before the event is over. Thank you for your cooperation.
