The Bard of the Mists competition, will once again (finally), be held in conjunction with a feast. The overall theme for feast & competition is VIKING (as befits our current Bard). The competition will be held between removes. 2. An original song, poem or story on any topic written in documentable period style.
  3. Masterwork: The performance piece you feel shows your talent in its best light (it need not be your own work).
  4. Bard's Choice: A song or poem (no stories!) on the subject of WAR.
  5. Impromptu: Draw 3 words from teh hat & in 15 minutes write a song, poem or story using all 3 words.

Anyone wishing to compete must contact the Bard of the Mists, Sir Valgard Stonecleaver, prior to the date of the event.
