Archery Tourney & Feast -- Hawks Haven

Come feast in Moorish Spain! There will be entertainment-dancers, poets, bards!!! The feast will be a Moorish Garden Party with low tables and pillows to wander among, visiting with old friends and making new ones. Food will be prepared by Carl the Hun and the populace of our Canton. The menu includes beef and lamb kababs, beid hamine (spiced, boiled eggs), foul medumas (spiced beans and eggs), eggahs (fritters), deep-fried fish, pickled vegetables and much more. Tickets are $8 per person and must be purchased before January 6th. No tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are available from the Baron and Baroness of Dark wood [see branch dir / Mists) or the Autocrat. Bring Rugs & Pillows!

Come One, Come all thou stout benders of the brave yew staff! The new shooting season is upon us. Come join us in the first archery tourney of the new year.

The various competitions include IKAC, Royal Round, Darkwood Archery Champion, Darkwood Hood Shoot to determine next member of the Baronial Company of Archers, novelty shoots (wand, Wilhelm Tell, etc.), and a possible junior royal round. First, second and third prizes to be awarded.

The range opens at 10am for practice and competition starts at 12 noon.
